The core business of GFIA is forensic accounting, internal audit and the related accounting and corporate risk advisory services. The firm’s professionals are, amongst others, members of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the South African Institute of Internal Auditors, and are subject to the professions’ codes of conduct and ethical practices.
All GFIA staff are registered members of the Association of Certified Fraud Examines (Southern Africa Chapter), and we accordingly adhere to the ethical practices stipulated by the ACFE.
Our IT Auditors are registered members of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (South Africa Chapter), dedicated to serving IT Governance Professionals.
GFIA is an organisational member of the Ethics Institute of South Africa, thereby demonstrating our financial support for the organisation’s initiatives aimed at building an ethical South Africa and our commitment to advancing the standards of ethical business conduct within GFIA and the accounting and auditing sector of the economy and in the Southern African Region
